Professor Thalia

Professor Thalia started last year after the previous head teacher retired. Professor Thalia worked at the ministry as head of the aurors for some time. She is also a member of the order of the Phoenix. Professor Thalia has brought many new things to the school including this site. She shall be a important headteacher in the history of hogwarts.

Friday news

Ok its that time again to tell you what is coming up very soon. We wont tell you a lot because there has got to be some suprises but our team is working on a new house system. Also we will have posts very soon as part of our project to fit into all the worlds muggle and wizard. These posts will be on cooking. For now I will leave you with a message from Professor Helmet. We are back

Hi! Welcome back to the new term here at hogwarts online. Your classes are starting properly on monday which gives us today to let you know about what we have planned for this term. I have been informed that you all love muggle art and so starting today our helper Professor Angel will have her webpage set up all the time. Also there will be a constant link to this site on our webpage. All students are required to go on there once a week to complete the tasks set. This is part of our project to get you to survive in the muggle world as well as the wizard world. Due to this fact muggle history will take over from this subject. Charms

Hello class, to start I have a letter here from Professor Adams. It reads Dear students.

I am very sorry that we had to close the school for a while but some dark wizards had manage to weaken our protective charms. We have however, fixed this problem and so we are now back online. As to the wizards who caused this to happen, they now are sitting in Azkaban.
Now that is out of the way we can go back to charms. Now without charms the world would not be what it is today. Broomsticks would be less comfortable, the candles in the great hall would not float and we would be seen by muggles. But what are charms really, other than just spells. Charms are spells that make an object act in an unusual way which is not normal for it. And this is what these lessons are about. Learning these charms. But first I want to know more about them. So for your homework I want you to write one side of parchment on what charms are.

For your first lesson I have prepared a test for you to try. Please do not use any books or the intrenet and complete it for homework.

3. What is the difference between wolfsbane, monkshood and aconite?
4. Name an ingredient in polyjuice potion.
5. Name another ingredient on polyjuice potion.
6. What does polyjuice potion do?
7. What does doxycide do?
8. What book would you need to find what gillyweed and mandrake is?
9. What magical abilities does gillyweed have?
10. What is the strongest truth potion called.
11. Whats the strongest love potion in the world?
12. Name a very important piece of equipment which you will need for most potion classes?
